Work begun Sept 43, discussed with Dr Watt and Dr Carmalt Jones (several diary entries during month). Evidently a competituion - given commission end of November 1943. Started on design 25 March 1944. Started drawing 26 April 1944. Accepted May and fee of 5 gns agreed.
