| Picture notes | Signed twice - original signature covered by mount? Bought by "Dn. Gallery" from 1969 Exhib. Sold by DPAG 1971 through Dunedin auctioneer. The picture shows Patey's Quad. She was briefly in Oxford, including Merton College on 13 June 1938. Her diary makes no mention of sketching, but there is no other candidate visit to Oxford. Postcards of similar views were probably available. Diary 26 February 1941 records this as being sent to Taieri aerodrome. | ||||
